Leasing of city owned building
I suggest that the city staff should quickly look into the steps necessary for the possible leasing of the building currently being used by the ESD 9 fire department. We need to determine what legalities are involved in the city leasing city property and what is a professionally appraised leasing value of the facility? We are nearing a time when the next year's budget will be set and this is information we should have in hand for budgeting considerations. The use of the building is also important for future planning for the city.

I agree. We are looking at flat income for next year and inflationary increases in spending. Every penny is going to count.
